Continuous Pulping System Drum Pulper
The drum pulper operates at high consistency (14%-22%), creating a gentle rubbing and kneading action among the fibers .This drum pulper provides gentle handling for fibers, separating them through mutual friction rather than violent cutting. This maintains fiber length and strength, thereby improving pulp quality and paper strength.
This drum pulper eliminates the need for powerful rotor for agitation and cutting; energy is used solely for drum rotation. This reduces energy consumption by up to 50% compared to conventional hydraulic pulpers. Diluent water is sprayed from above, rinsing the pulp through the screen plate into the discharge box below. The water flow also acts as a backwash, removing fibers that may clog the screen openings and keeping the screen plate clean. Excessive impurities cannot pass through the screen and continue through the drum, exiting from the end.
